Ashla

My Mom sent me this picture last week. I can specifically remember the moment my mom took this picture. Ash and I were playing house. As usual I was playing the Dad and she was the Mom. She never let me be the mom, it was either Dad or Dog. But nonetheless, I loved having Ash as a constant playmate.

Of course we fought over toys, yelled over sharing clothes and teased each other continually but I loved her. I'm so happy that once we were like 14 and 15 we became buddies and we rarely fought. Some of my favorite years of Utah life were spent shopping and road tripping with Ash where we sang Disney songs as loud as we could. Now she lives far away but we still play nearly everyday thanks to Words with Friends.
