So today I had the opportunity to attend a housing forecast presentation at the U. A scholarly man from Harvard told us about national trends and then Clark Ivory talked about local trends. The event was very interesting for a real estate analyst like myself but apparently not so much for my coworker who was bobbing his head every 3 minutes. But the best part of going to this presentation was visiting my favorite professor after- Professor Goldsmith. We talked about new developments, concerns with City Creek Mall, relationships, families, and life. Goldsmith pretty much made my day when he said, "I don't know what that job is doing to you, but you are radiant. I have never seen you better."
It has been a tough few weeks. Work has been busy, friends have been hurting, and emotions surfacing but when someone you truly, respect and admire sees something great in you- the day is just brighter. I tip my hat to you Goldsmith.
