Gypsy Friends

One of my most favorite couples, Demelza and Craig, happened to be in town for a week back in early August. They were the lovely folks I visited in Hawaii. Sadly I had to work during the day but I was able to fill my evenings with them.I consumed all of Craig's delicious food concoctions, including this amazing eggplant, pineapple, banana cake. I loved talking with Demelza, that girl just knows my soul. We had some enchanting backyard BBQs and fine dinning lunch date at Crown Burger that I will treasure.

Craig and Demelza are about to set sail for a year traveling the world. I'm planning on meeting up with them sometime during their travels. They are starting in Australia and working their way through Asia, Africa and Europe. They came to Utah one last time before they leave in October for their journey. What better way to celebrate a bon-voyage than a trip to Boondocks! Demelza had never played laser tag, but she quickly became a fan. I learned that Craig is amazing in the batting cages, he is a regular Ken Griffey Jr (thank you super Nintendo game for teaching me one baseball player who played in the past 15 years.) I think my favorite event of the evening was the go-carts!
