Cause you gotta have friends

Demelza has been my friend for years. She and her husband Craig spent the last 2 years traveling world. Despite being in nearly every continent over that period we still kept in touch. They recently moved to Austin which means I get to see them regularly now.

I spent Friday night evening and part of Saturday morning with them. They told me stories of their adventures and showed me photos of whale sharks and glow worms and car dancing videos on the Bolivian salt flats. We also ate tasty food and vintage clothing shopped. 

I wish everyone could have friends like these two, so kind and thoughtful and loving. I really think Demelza taught me the most about loving others and how happiness is a choice. They continually remind me that waiting for a kind and loving guy is worth the wait.
