Ice Cream Nostalgia

I purchased this shirt because it reminded me of Ashley's ice cream necklace and earrings she wore as a wee lady. I love remembering her wearing the combo and then me wearing them in highschool because I thought they had a cute vintage feel.

Nostalgia is so much a part of how my mind works. I think of past memories constantly. Often I wish I could shut them off but then I realize it is all those bright fun moments that fill my day with joy. I think of the first time I made Caylee laugh hard, all the singing and car dancing with Karina, the first time I played the ball game, the moment I realized I had a testimony of Jesus Christ,  my first flight, tasting gelato in Italy, having great emotional talks in Hawaii with Demelza, traveling to New York with Em, successful crops from Mel, Stacie and me's garden and various cute kisses from fellas from the past, all these sweet little memories may clutter my daily thought process but I'm grateful those snipits of my past fill my mind with gratitude and hope for all the fun memories to come!
