Iceland

I traveled to Iceland Valentines weekend with my friends Jonathan, Lindsay and Cassie. The country was cold, yes it is winter there, but that is how we got a great deal. We stayed at a hotel close to downtown Reykjavik so we were able to see a lot of the city. 

The city has this stunning performing arts center that has the most unique architecture. I also loved  the street art and famous Banksy above the Viking ship. The church there was just huge! The biggest thing in the city, height wise. 

We traveled to see Gullfoss and Geyers. I loved Gullfoss tons! The country reminded me of how strong Mother Nature is, such a powerful beautiful force! 

The Icelandic horse is a big deal there too so we went to some horse theater which was unique.

Finally on our last night we saw little norther lights. They were glorious and stunning.

I want to come to Iceland again! Mainly to eat their hot dogs but to see the black sand beaches!
