I speak of my love for dinner night frequently but I can't fully explain how grateful I am for these friends who have become my Salt Lake family. I celebrate their triumphs, marriages, promotions and wins. I truly feel deep empathy when they have setbacks, pain, disappointments and fears.
My favorite thing to do with these pals is to laugh and we are pros at it. Dinner night seems like a place where we never stop talking, we have much to share and then great food to discuss. This week was spent with Jonathan making an incredible zucchini casserole with chicken rice, rolls and Amanda's perfect salad. After dinner since John's house has numerous instruments John, Danny and Linds played twinkle twinkle little star together.
It was awesome and Vi played for us too. Then Vi and played piano and hide and go seek which resulted in me slipping on a rug, nearly breaking a cello. Fortunately I was not injured but then Vi fell on the same rug.
Damn that rug!
