The first week of April I was in Chicago. I transferred two properties I manage to my coworker. Then I had two days of training for a major certification. I stayed in downtown Chicago. It is such a beautiful city. I made a point to explore fun restaurants and shops. I took time before the training to see my Grandma. She lives in Peoria which is south of Chicago. I have never been to her home which is kinda crazy. She always comes to us since 7 of her 8 children live in Texas. She showed me her town and places where ancestors were buried. She is such a spitfire. She is so brilliant and dedicated to her city. She so desperately wants to preserve it from falling prey to blight.
So back to the test... I was worried I wouldn't pass but I ended up with a 90!!! I'm very happy to have a certification and some more experience!
I was given these flowers when I passed from the team I work with in Chicago! Such nice people, I'll miss working with them!!
