In March my dear sister Splashly took a road trip out west. She visited her husband’s family in Escalante. Scott and I took the opportunity to head down and visit her family for the weekend. Although the trip down there jarred us with driving by a horrific car accident, we went on to have a sensational weekend. We hiked around some gorgeous slot canyons. We got a bit lost which really distressed Warren but we made it through. Scott ended up carrying Nyla out of the hike and she barfed a little. All in all, we were fine, it was just crazy how being a big lost can unwind everything. We rested at the lovely inn and enjoyed eating tasty food. I love little road trip weekends and it was extra nice to spend it with family.
