Beach Race

My dear friends offered to fly me out to California to help with their car race if I agreed to shuttle some guests about during the event. I agreed and had a lovely time! The guests were incredibly kind and we had a lovely time driving around the Laguna Seca track on the golf cart. I think I should be a caddie on the weekends because I'm a mean cart driver. I also had the opportunity to visit the Monterrey Bay Aquarium which is downright astonishing! I would have stared at the kelp forest all day, just swaying, but I had to fly home. I think the best thing about a trip is that it just resets you and reminds you of all the wonderful things in this world, like sea otters and banana, sea salt caramel-chocolate milkshakes (yes I consumed that).
