Matchmakers

Sometimes in life you have these perfect moments in which you realize how much love your friends have for you. Occasionally it comes in the form of a kind note, Jenny-I'm talking to you, filled with so much love and sincere appreciation for your existence. Other times it comes in the form of a simple text with hilarious emojis or just a good old fashion hug.

Tonight I witnessed a new kind of love expression. While eating dinner with a favorite married friend couple we discussed life, work and upcoming plans so naturally conversation gravitated toward dating after those topics. My friends concluded that Tinder is full of manwhores and that I should try Match.com. I sighed in a very resigned way and said "if I join match you must screen all the men and only submit the best dudes to me." 

They laughed and then they sorta smiled at one another and were like "yeah we would totally do that for you." I dare say they were excited to help with this crappy thing called dating. I realize this interest comes from a place of slight amusement, ok maybe mild amusement but I recognize that it was mainly coming from a place of love. And this is why I just love having such quality friends.
