My New Passion

I’ve always wanted to learn how to sew. I think for many years I avoided learning because I didn’t want to fail at a hobby. My good pal Vanessa is a master quilter and she said she would love to teach me to sew. We spent several Saturdays picking out projects and then teaching me the steps. I loved it! She is the best teacher and really helped me feel empowered in how she taught me. I made three couch pillow slip covers.

I’ve now moved on to the Wild world of quilts and I found I have quite the passion! I’ve started my first quilt for my sister Ashley, but I’m already planning future quilts!
